Перший Київський фестиваль аніме March 25, 2006
От цікава річ — в Києві з 12 по 19 квітня буде проводитись Перший Київський фестиваль аніме… Читаємо про це на сайті “Жовтня” і на уаніме. Список фільмів до перегляду (інфа з uanime):
- Чудові дні (взагалі Корея, та нічого, малюнок гарний)
- О, моя богиня! (все зелене, але дивитись можна)
- Кайт (хентай і кровища)
- Спрігган (нічого особливого, але подивитися можна)
- Мисливець на вампірів Ді: Жага крові (дивитися можна)
- Пальмове дерево (також відоме під назвою Майже людина) (типу мека, японський Буратіно [хі-хі] — але щось на сайті Жовтня я його не знайшов…)
- Той, що летить за вітром (таке)…
- Рубаки (TV 26 серій) (сакс)
- Mezzo: гра зі смертю (TV 13) (сакс, хентай без хентаю, кава без кофеїну (хоча, з іншого боку, Шінґецутан цукіхіме теж хентай без хентаю, а он як рулить…))

Actually subj. Interview here. Very interesting, here is a quote on Pom Poko (you know, that film about tanuki) and eco terrorism:
I did not know about this point of view. They consider the tanuki to be terrorists? But they are the victims. The film depicts a drama; it is the end of a world, the end of the tanuki world. I wanted the viewer to look from the point of view of the animals and try to make us perceive how our world appears to us seen from the outside. However, the terrorist label does not disturb me. Today, terrorists are public enemy number 1. But historically, terrorism was sometimes a mean of asking attention of the established society. This state of mind existed until in the seventies. Terrorism sometimes had the capacity to make the world or people reflect on their condition.
And about fantasy domination:
I cannot speak for other countries, but in Japan there is indeed a domination of what I consider as “fantasy”, in cinema or in manga. For these types of art, there are of course often interesting works. However, it’s because of its monopoly that the young people tend to consume only these types of works and only live in these chimerical universes. All of the video games or the films water the young spectators of these universes. Another element which strikes me is that aesthetically speaking, these works tend towards ultra-realism, either using real photos which are manipulated using a computer or using 3D often blurring the border between the real world and the “fantasy” world. The problem with this is that when the young people find themselves in reality, they find it dull and depressing and only dream of living in a factitious universe. I think this is a shame and consider it as dangerous. This is why I do not appreciate “fantasy” in general.

В Мушіші на DVD буде 26 серій March 21, 2006
Раніше я писав, що в Мушіші буде 20 серій. І це вірно по відношенню до телесерій. По телебаченню дійсно показали 20 серій, і про це написано на офіційному сайті. Однак на DVD, який виходить ніби то у травні (хоч я не знаю про це напевно, це інфа з сайту саберів C1), буде ще 6 додаткових серій. Прочитати про це можна на Вікіпедії тут.
Таким чином, всього в Мушіші буде таки 26 епізодів, вірніше, 20 на телебаченні, і 26 на DVD. Трансляція на телебаченні вже скінчилася (в усякому разі на Фуджі), наступні 6 серій чекаємо з травня. Український переклад першої двадцятки скоро буде готовий. Англійські сабери C1 вже підтвердили, що продовжуватимуть переклад останніх 6 серій, як тільки ті вийдуть. Звичайно, я доперекладаю їх услід за ними теж :-). Так що 20 — це тільки проміжний фініш!
P.S.: Увага! Проміжний фініш триватиме до 14 травня 2006. Епізоди з 21-го і далі транслюватимуться з 14 травня на BS Фуджі щотижня по неділях о 25:00, приблизно тоді ж перекладатимуться C1, а разом з ними і мною. Так що, до наступного разу! ^_^

OMG, Paradise Kiss! I’m watching it over. A must for everyone who haven’t seen it yet. Simply the best character design imho. I’ll keep it on my harddisk (instead of putting it aside on DVD, and this is recognition, you know ;-)). Some people are saying that it’s not as good as manga… I have to get that manga! The opening titled Lonely in Gorgeous is good as well (I’ve got PV), but the ending, Do You Want To by Franz Ferdinand, is my favorite now, it’s so driving. Plus, look at that car! And one more time. It’s gorgeous (lonely in gorgeous (whatever it means)).

Весняні прем’єри 2006 March 16, 2006
Починається весняний аніме-сезон 2006 року. Маємо зливу прем’єр, більше півсотні найменувань! Думаю, не проблема знайти японо- чи англомовний огляд прем’єр на інеті (зокрема, на Moonphase, на Cinnamon Ass, на Matthew’s чи на Memento), та щось українською я ще ніде не бачив…
Як звичайно, в більшості своїй все це лайно, та, знов ж таки як завжди, є в тому і щось цікаве. З десятка обраних мною для перегляду зимових шоу пробу тьюбом (трубою) витримали тільки Аякаші, Балада Шініґамі, Ханбун но цукі ґа нобору сора та Fate/Stay Night, з яких я власне дивлюсь тільки Аякаші, а за іншими слідкую по трубі (але якщо була б можливість, скачнув би і їх теж).
Отже, до весни. Після того як я пробігся по назвах і коротких описаннях, я відібрав для себе такі заслуговуючі на увагу серії.
