Eureka Seven June 22, 2006
It’s rather rare: I couldn’t watch it to the end… (and I have experience of Rurouni Kenshin (ninety-something episodes)!). Man, it so sucks! Why is that? Well, 1) it’s about mecha flying on the board; 2) it’s for children; 3) it’s shounen; 4) it’s stupid; 5) why, why it has to be a board?! I’m ready to believe in flying mechas without boards! Board spoils the illusion…
BONES screwed up not only with Eureka, they have that stupid shounen thing Juuousei. And Kurau is on their list too (though it’s not SO bad). And this is from the same people that did Rahxephon:roll:! Don’t know what’s with them, maybe they save on scriptwriters? Why, why are their stories so stupid?! Why spend all that time drawing such nice, elaborate pictures, if you have nothing to say? Nothing but mechas flying on the board, I mean? It’s so stupid! I’ve wasted 30 episodes of my time only to see that nothing happens! Why should I care “what the boy thinks”, “what the girl thinks” and all that nonsense? What, it’s Gonzo’s?
It’s Talho. She’s nice. Actually, she’s hot, isn’t she? Only she makes it worth watching (but her charm lasted for 30 episodes only in my case :-().
