Monster is finished! February 4, 2006
Finally someone finished to sub Monster. And the name of that subber is… Soldats! Why Anime-Kraze delayed with it I don’t know. I’ve followed Anime-Kraze’s subs since 10th episode, but now have to switch on Soldats’. I don’t mind. I don’t want to wait any longer. Actually, I’m already in the channel…

do you know any facts behind the story? is it purely fictional or not??? cos somebody told me monster has some facts in it. thx
Actually I did read about some facts behind the story on Wikipedia, but since then that entry has been modified and they’ve removed all about it. I only remember that it was about some American serial killer that in some way resembles Johann. Plus there were some psychological experiments during WWII (on all sides, not only in Germany). Also you can read about parallels between Johann and Hitler here on anime-kraze.
As for me those are minor resemblances, and as I know mangaka Urasawa Naoki dislikes the idea of such real-life correspondences.
