Another great anime, Perfect Blue. Thriller at its best, but in very Japanese style. I didn’t really get in the end who’s criminal? But it’s ok, i can guess. Very psychological thing with powerfull animation, direction, story…

Смерть — зловісна тема для всіх нас. Образи, що їх багато хто асоціює з нею — Стара з косою, скрипучі гроби, кінцівки скелетів, плакучі верби та надгробки, — часто дуже нервують, якщо не жахають. З дитинства ми навчені поєднувати усміхнені черепи та вибілені кістки зі смертю та злостивими духами — щось, що лишається з нами на все життя.
Та смерть є просто притаманною частиною життя і природи. Дерева в’януть та вмирають. Тварин забивають, щоб нагодувати тих, хто стоїть вище у харчовому ланцюгу. Клітини наших тіл вмирають кожного дня, і їх заміняють нові.
Мета цієї статті поінформувати, а не настрахати, широку публіку. Якщо ви м’якосерді і не в змозі витримати надто натуралістичних описань, дуже радимо не продовжувати читання.
Що таке смерть?
Смерть — це незворотна втрата якостей живої матерії, інакше кажучи, смерть є припиненням життя. В момент смерті тіло зупиняє свої механізми життя і більше ніколи не починає їх знов.
Існує дві основні фази смерті:
- соматична смерть, а саме припинення життєвих процесів, і
- молекулярна смерть, а саме прогресуюче розкладання тіла.

The medicalization of death has played a major role in the modern denial of death. Doctors first began to appear at the deathbeds of the privileged during the eighteenth century, making it possible, with the use of opiates, for one to die without pain. The promise of a pain-free death meant that, over time, doctors took the place of the clergy at the moment of death. Advances in medicine since the nineteenth century have resulted in a dramatic decline in deaths from short-term infectious diseases. Whereas before, the mortality rate was particularly high among children, and remained at a relatively high level throughout adulthood, today the incidence of death is concentrated among the elderly.
